I have worked as an art director on magazines such as Elle and Tatler and with professional photography and photographers for thirty years as a photographer, editor and creative director.

Whilst working as a photographer, I edited Professional Photographer,Photography Monthly and Turning Pro magazines in the UK before launching my own title Hungry Eye, a monthly magazine for professional photographers and filmmakers in 2011. I now edits and curates United Nations of Photography.  In 2013 I established and curated the Photo Book Weekend as part of the Cheltenham Literature Festival and I write on photography for BBC News Online. My photography is held in the permanent collections of MOMA, New York, The Tate, The Victoria & Albert Museum, and The British Library.
