Jude Rogers is a Senior Lecturer in Journalism, running modules in Feature Writing, Ethics, and Lifestyle Journalism, and lecturing about writing and radio on final year portfolio courses.

Biography

Jude Rogers has been a journalist and editor since 2003 and journalism lecturer since 2010. She regularly does high-profile interviews for the Observer, The Guardian and Sunday Times, writes cover stories for women’s magazines, and makes documentaries for Radio 4. Before lecturing at Gloucestershire, she was at London Metropolitan University for six years, where she convened modules in Feature Writing, Reporting, Arts Journalism and Magazine Production.

Jude Rogers runs modules in feature writing, lifestyle journalism and ethics. She aims to replicate the working life experience of a journalist through workshops, activities and out-of-class exercises, and brings in examples from her regular media work to show how the industry operates and changes.
