Jackie graduated with a BEd (Hons) degree in primary education and taught in a range of primary schools in three different counties in England as well as at a British Forces school in Germany before deciding to move into initial teacher education.

Biography

Jackie graduated with a BEd (Hons) degree in primary education and taught in a range of primary schools across England and a British Forces school in Germany. She worked alongside the Local Education Authority Maths team, GLOSMATHS, to develop small schools planning for the Primary National Strategy in Maths. Jackie completed her MEd in Mentoring and Coaching and supports the training of new mentors within the Primary Partnership. As primary maths team leader, Jackie is committed to becoming involved in extending work beyond the university.
