Steve Bullock has been involved in youth work since he was a young person. He has developed a substantial portfolio of practice in different settings. His experience, current PHD studies and international projects inform his teaching

Biography

Steve has have been involved in youth work since he was a young person and has substantial experience of working with young people in different ways and settings.  His specialised areas include community settings, models of youth provision, faith based work, spirituality, ideas development, residential activities and event planning. His academic studies have complemented his practice; his PHD explores how communities have responded to changes in youth services since 2010.

Research

My PHD studies focus on understanding how communities have responded to changes in youth services since 2010. I am also undertaking research on the learning journeys that people experience as a result of being involved in our RIDE (resources for inclusion and diversity) Erasmus plus project.
