As a social worker I was privileged and fortunate to work with people to help them make sense of challenges in their lives and find ways forward to bring about change. I take the passion and experience of my practice into working with students who need additional support at times during their studies.

Biography

Denise Wright is a Senior Lecturer and Placements Co-ordinator on the BSc Social Work course. Having lived, trained and worked in Gloucestershire she has in-depth knowledge of the area. Having led a workforce development team for many years Denise has in depth knowledge of social work education, particularly around placements, working on local, regional and national developments.
