Graded an outstanding Early Years Teacher by Ofsted in 2015, Emma is now a lecturer on the undergraduate Early Childhood Studies course and mentor on the Early Years Initial Teacher Training course.

Biography

After studying English and German at the University of Oxford, Emma started her teaching career as an English teacher with VSO in St Lucia before returning to the UK and becoming Head of English. After a career break, however, she discovered her true passion lay in the early years. She worked in a local preschool setting, qualifying as an outstanding Early Years Teacher, and joined the Early Years lecturing team in 2015.
