Biography

Mark has been at the University since 2010 and has a passion for sport and exercise, particularly in football, badminton, rugby and training. His area of interest is in energy expenditure during rest and physical activity with a focus on economy of movement. He is a BASES accredited Sport Scientist who has worked with GB Equestrian, Cheltenham Town FC, and various rugby clubs providing performance analysis, profiling and optimum performance. His current support is based around Gloucestershire Fire Service, providing fitness testing, training and advice and running placements for our students.
