At the University of Gloucestershire Samantha is the Academic Subject Leader for Sport and Exercise and contributes to the teaching of Sport and Exercise Science, Sports Strength and Conditioning and Sports Therapy.

Biography

At the University of Gloucestershire Samantha is the Academic Subject Leader for Sport and Exercise and contributes to the teaching of Sport and Exercise Science, Sports Strength and Conditioning and Sports Therapy. Samantha is a Sports Therapist whose skills have been used in injury clinics, sports clubs and international teams in the last 10 years. Since 2006 Samantha has travelled yearly with the GB (age group) Triathlon and Duathlon teams to European and World championships across the globe.

My research interest is in athlete wellness and the use of therapeutic intervention to support this. I am currently undertaking a PhD investigating the stress and immune response to exercise and recovery intervention.
