International funding
Funding options for international students at University of Gloucestershire.
All the information you need to apply to University of Gloucestershire.
If you have a question about what life is really like at the UoG, you can speak to a current student. They’ll be happy to share their knowledge with you on anything from halls of residence to the best things to do in Gloucestershire in your free time.
You can also speak to a member of our team about studying with us.
We understand that it can sometimes be difficult to work out what your qualifications match with in the UK education system, so the following country-specific information should help you decide which level of study is most appropriate for you.
Please note that some courses may require higher entry requirements than the basic requirements described below. A course may require higher minimum results in a specific subject area such as science or math, or may require that you have previously studied a particular topic. You may be asked to interview, such as for our Arts and Health and Social Care courses. You may be required to submit a portfolio or to audition, such as for our Arts/ Performing Arts programmes. Some courses may require work/volunteering experience within the industry.
Applicants are advised to thoroughly read the course page for the degree programme to which they are applying, including the Entry Requirements section, and to pay careful attention to the conditions stated in the offer letter.

The University of Gloucestershire is delighted to be approved for tuition benefits through Veterans Affairs/GI Bill, and therefore able to support the further education goals of eligible service members. In order to use VA funding there is a course (degree programme) level application that must be completed, and documentation to complete. Our Americas Manager is here to help with this process and welcome US vets to Gloucestershire.
We are not a FAFSA-enabled institution, which means that we cannot process federal loans, grants or work-study.
We are, however, able to accept students who are self-funded or who fund their tuition with loans from private lenders, such as Sallie Mae or recognised banks/credit unions. The money must be given directly to the student, who can then pay the university.
Independent scholarship and grant awards may be used to fund study at the University of Gloucestershire as well. If you are eligible for an award and want to check that we can accept it, please contact us by email at international@glos.ac.uk. Sponsored students can find out more about payment details by visiting our How to pay page.
Local agents offer you support in your own country and language, helping you with your application, student visa, logistical considerations and questions about studying in the UK. These services are typically free of charge and can make the whole process easier.
