Gain contemporary Nursing skills

Our nursing courses are developed with key healthcare organisations, ensuring our students gain the very latest knowledge, skills and experiences. Working with partners including Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Gloucestershire Care Services, 2Gether NHS Foundation Trust, Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and Healthwatch, we ensure our nursing programmes are up-to-date, relevant and meet the needs of both healthcare providers and patients in modern society. You'll benefit from learning in state-of-the-art facilities including simulated practice settings, as well as on placements where you'll be inspired and mentored by experienced healthcare professionals.

Develop your resilience and wellbeing

We provide the support you'll need to face the day-to-day challenges of this rewarding but demanding profession. By focusing on building a 'culture of care', we support students to consider, develop and maintain their own personal wellbeing and resilience. This wellbeing philosophy is fundamental to ensuring our nurses can effectively care for themselves, in order for them to be able to offer high quality support and care for others.

Graduate ready to begin your career

Both our Nursing courses are designed to meet the high standards of accrediting, inspecting and regulating bodies, allowing graduates to register with the appropriate professional body to progress straight into their chosen Nursing career. Therefore, our Nursing (Adult) degree is approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) allowing students to become a Registered Nurse on graduation. Our Nursing (Mental Health) degree is pending NMC approval, which will allow students to become a Registered Mental Health Nurse on graduation.
