As well as being a place of worship, the Chaplaincy Centre also serves the University as a ‘cultural centre’. An annual programme of events includes regular concerts (classical, jazz, and pop) and art exhibitions put on by students from the Pittville Campus and visiting artists.
Weekly Services
A weekly pattern of services occurs at the University Chapel (Francis Close Hall). The annual worship programme includes a number of special services, most notably the University Carol Service.
Tuesday Breakfast & Prayer
8am Breakfast and Prayer at the FCH University Chapel. A time for anyone to come along and join us in prayer and breakfast, for issues affecting us individually, around the university and the world.
Art Exhibitions
We have about 4 exhibitions a year in the Chapel at the moment, but if you'd like to show your work then please let us know. We have 2 amazing spaces you can use, the smaller chapel room and the large chapel. All have hanging facilities. For more information about current, coming and past exhibitions please go to the university calendar.
