Terms and Conditions 

Use of the University of Gloucestershire Website

1. The contents of the University of Gloucestershire website (hence forward referred to as ‘the website’) are copyright University of Gloucestershire 2004. The copying or incorporation into any other work of part or all of the material available on the website in any form is prohibited save that you may:

(a) print or download extracts of the materials on this site for your personal, non-commercial use;
or
(b)  copy the materials on the website for the purpose of sending to individual third parties for their personal, non-commercial use, provided that you acknowledge University of Gloucestershire as the source of the material and that you inform the third party that these conditions apply to them and that they must comply with them.

No institution or student may assign or sub-licence any rights granted by the general use licence to use the information on the University’s website for other purposes, and that approval for such action must first be sought from the University.

All intellectual property within the website is owned by University of Gloucestershire. Nothing in these terms and conditions transfers to you any rights of ownership of such intellectual property, or constitutes a licence to use such intellectual property.

2. The University shall use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information contained on the University website is as accurate as reasonably possible and such information may be changed or updated from time to time.

3.  The University will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that access to the information available on and linked to its website is as proficient, accurate and secure as reasonably possible. The University reserves the right to exclude, except where such liability cannot be limited or excluded by law, for any direct, indirect and special loss, related to the use of the University’s website, including but not limited to business interruption, loss of programs or other data on the University’s handling system or otherwise. 

4. University of Gloucestershire shall use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that any student’s credit card information which is inserted by a student or a member of the University’s staff on the University website is encrypted using appropriate software and is as secure as reasonably possible.  The University accepts no liability for any direct, indirect or special loss suffered by an individual student as a consequence of inserting such information on the University’s website, save for where the University considers such losses are directly attributable to the University of Gloucestershire.
