Biography

I am a director, actor and translator with a specialism in Shakespeare. My company To The Elephant has performed at the Edinburgh Festival (“a masterclass in how to direct a Shakespearean tragedy”, “RSC quality at Fringe prices” Fringe Review, 2016), at our annual festival at Upottery in Devon, and in various venues across London including The Rose, Bankside and CLF Art Cafe.

I am a Trustee for Kent Opera, a charity that works through music and drama to improve the lives of marginalised and disadvantaged people. Research includes, PAPPUS, an Erasmus project headed by The University of Gloucestershire, that places the natural world at the heart of children’s learning.
