Dr. Howell teaches on the history of revolution, nationalism and fascism. His wider research activities consider contemporary migration, intangible heritage and modern historical protest graffiti.

Biography

David Howell lectures on the following subject areas: HM4407 Europe in the Age of Revolutions; HM4410 Representing the Past; HM5410 Making Nations, Making States; HM6412 Dark Continent. Fascism in Europe.

He currently co-ordinates the following research projects: Cheltenham Lower High Street Project; Cheltenham: Diaspora; Mapping Cofiwch Dryweryn; The Mari Lwyd Map Project.
