I joined the University in 2020 with experience of teaching in a higher education, clinical research and working as a spinal extended scope practitioner in the NHS.

Biography

After qualifying in 2002, I have worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist within the NHS, professional sport, private practice and clincial research. I have a clinical interest in spinal physiotherapy and worked as a spinal extended scope practitioner in Bristol for 5 years before moving into academia. My clinical research experience inlcudes knee arthroplasty rehabilitation and sensoriomotor control in the cervical spine.

Research

After completing a PhD in sensorimotor control in the cervical spine I contiue to have a research interest in clinical assessmnet and management of chronic neck pain and neck disorders. Additionally I have an ineterest in rehabilitation after knee arthroplasty.
