Jude Rogers

Senior Lecturer in Journalism

Jude Rogers started writing at 4 and never stopped. She writes regularly now for the Observer, the Guardian and women’s magazines, and tells students what she’s learned along the way.

I’ve been lucky enough to be a journalist since 2003. I’ve interviewed some of my favourite artists (Paul McCartney, Adele, Björk), written cover stories for women’s magazines (Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, In Style), made documentaries for Radio 4, been a regular TV and radio pundit and a judge of arts awards, including the Mercury Prize. I’ve also taught about the production and practices of journalism since 2010, and find teaching makes me a better writer – honestly!
