Applied Sport and Exercise Sciences

I joined the university in 2014. Prior to academia I worked as a strength and conditioning coach for Aberdeen Grammar Rugby, Scottish Hockey and Robert Gordon University.

As strength and conditioning coach and academic, I have research interests in athletic preparation and performance. I deliver a range of strength and conditioning modules across each year of the undergraduate programme. I have particular interests in weightlifting movements for non-weightlifting athletes and training intensity, volume and frequency and endurance performance.
