Our interviews are designed to support you in understanding more about the requirements and demands of the course and ensure that each individual who is successful has the best opportunity to achieve their potential. The interview is a two way process, so please ask any questions that you may have. Attending the event is not just about the interview; we want you to view our specialised facilities, attend a group discussion\/interview, meet with our academic teams, chat with current ambassadors, tour the campus and visit the accommodation you may be living in. We also welcome parents\/guests to our interview day and hold a special Q&amp;A for them whilst you are attending your interview.<br>During your registration you will be asked to show an official form of ID such as passport or photocard driving licence and complete a Self-Declaration form..<\/p>\n\n<p>Once you have registered and completed a few clearance documents our lecturers will introduce themselves and give you a brief overview of the course. You will then have a group session with applicants from across the different health courses, working together in small interprofessional groups exploring a case study and considering what your role may be in supporting that patient or service user. You will then have your individual interview, which will last around 20 \u2013 30 minutes. Think about transferrable skills you may have developed in either school, college or work. Have you ever volunteered for anything? Do your research \u2013 look at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nmc.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) website<\/a>&nbsp;and reread your personal statement.<\/p>\n\n<p>We know that interviews can be stressful \u2013 make sure you breathe and take your time. If you need to pause the interview at any time, that is fine. The interview is not a trick or a test \u2013 we just want to hear more about your experiences and your values. All of the Nursing Team have once been where you are!<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What you need to send us?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Please scan copies of the following education documents and email to the admissions team&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:admissions@glos.ac.uk\">admissions@glos.ac.uk<\/a>&nbsp;as soon as your interview has been confirmed. If you are unable to do this before your interview please bring photocopies of these certificates to your interview to leave with us for checking.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 certificates for GCSE English Language and Mathematics (or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths)<br>\u2022 L3 qualifications or higher, e.g. AS\/A Levels, Access to Higher Education Diploma, BTEC Diploma, Degree
