From big conceptual ideas across digital, social, tv and print, to creative strategies, art direction, copywriting and brand storytelling – you’ll learn the practical, hands-on skills needed to make it as a successful advertising creative, and graduate with a portfolio full of original ideas and an enviable black book of industry contacts.
Our award-winning lecturers have worked at some of the biggest agency networks, including McCann, Havas, Saatchi&Saatchi and Lowe to name a few, and with big name clients including Nike, Disney, Superdry, Coca-Cola and Aston Martin. Often sitting on creative award juries, they know what’s needed to go into a great advertising campaign, and are here to mentor, support and challenge you to work as a professional creative from day one.
You’ll be encouraged to make yourself at home in our creative studio and Mac suite within the Design Centre, working alongside graphic, fashion, interior and product designers. You’ll have access to the industry-standard software you would expect in the creative department of an agency, and learn vital technical skills through a range of practical workshops to enhance your abilities in both digital and graphic design, moving image, art direction and photography.
You’ll benefit from an enviable roster of international advertising agency partners, all with providing a mixture of live briefs, agency visits, book crits and more. Whether it’s Channel 4’s in-house creative agency, 4Creative, the home of good works, Karmarama, or the UK’s biggest advertising agency, AMVBBDO, you’ll be exposed to the best agencies the world has to offer from the first year of the course.
