Applicants should possess an HND, Diploma of Higher Education or Foundation degree.
You’ll top up your existing qualification to a full honours degree while advancing your knowledge and skills in criminology and contemporary criminal justice issues.
The course is designed for students who already have a Foundation Degree, HND or other qualification in subjects like criminology, uniformed public services or criminal justice – and who want to gain specialist knowledge and skills to graduate level.
You’ll follow a programme of study designed to develop your critical thinking and research skills, as well as completing an applied research project on a topic of your choice.
You’ll also select four option modules from a list that’s likely to cover topics in policing, restorative justice, homicide, sexual violence, prisons and rehabilitation, and forensic crime scene investigation.
Your Personal Tutor will guide you through the programme and help you plan your next steps after graduation.

We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants though the entry requirements still apply.
Some courses require several years of working experiences in the relevant industry.
