What is Sports Therapy MSc?

This contemporary, accredited programme, is a conversion MSc designed to develop you into an industry-ready, evidence-based, Sports Therapy practitioner.

With a focus on opportunity, employability and research, students will have the chance to build a 200 hour supervised placement portfolio, allowing students to meet the requirements of SST accreditation upon graduation. This MSc facilitates and supports learning though supervised hands-on placement within a student-led Sports Injury clinic, alongside opportunities at professional and amateur teams, clinics and in the community at sporting events both locally and across the country.

You’ll develop research and enquiry skills through critical appraisal of evidence and placement experience, with the development of a project proposal designed to inform future practice.

You’ll join a university where sport is a part of life. Be it the extensive and accessible wellbeing and research facilities at the purpose-built Oxstalls campus, the range of sports scholarship packages or the huge array of clubs.

To support your postgraduate journey, there are also fee waivers, bursaries and awards available for both UK and international students, and a 10- 20% fees discount for returning undergraduate students. Find out more on the funding pages.
