This integrated course includes Level 4-6 learning, as found on a BEng degree, as well as Level 7 Master’s programme content.

It has been designed to create effective multi-disciplinary engineers who have acquired the necessary creative, technical and research skills to work within the broad spectrum of modern industry.

Students successfully completing that course will be able to extend their knowledge by progressing to PhD stage.

This course will equip you with the advanced knowledge of industrial systems engineering including the industrial technology, operation, product design, engineering management, pioneering approaches in this field and how to apply them to solve both real-world and pioneer research-oriented problems.

The course has been designed to be accredited by Engineering Council through the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Institution of Mechanical Engineering (iMechE), and/ or Energy Institute

Study style

Lectures, guest speakers and seminars, individual work, self led work/research and group work With group work bringing together engineers from a variety of backgrounds to shape projects and tasks. Gain practical experience in project management. As a day release course, you can immediately apply your learning to your industry role.

120 tariff points

BBB at A levels, DDM at BTEC (must include Maths and either Physics, Electronics, Further Maths or Chemistry) or a combination of your qualifications to reach the required tariff total.
