The course will prepare you for mechatronics engineering, its new development and challenges in designing and developing mechatronic systems for modern industries from system engineering point of view to integrate the digital world to drive smart factories, advanced manufacturing, whilst enhancing revolutionary changes to connected devices and addressing the new cyber risks faced by companies when adopting Industry 4.0.
The programme has been designed to create effective inter/multi-disciplinary engineers who have acquired the necessary creative and technical skills to work within the broad spectrum of modern industry.
Gain a solid knowledge of mechatronics engineering including mechatronics system theory, robotics, automation technology, operation, engineering design, engineering management, pioneering approaches in this field and how to apply them to solve real-world problems.
Students successfully completing the course will be able to progress to the proposed level 7 MEng Engineering degrees.
