Zoey joined University of Gloucestershire from Vietnam in 2019 and has recently graduated in MSc Human Resource Management<\/a><\/p>\n

“One of the most important reasons that I chose this university <\/span>was that I was granted the Merit Scholarship for International Students that covered 50% <\/span>of <\/span>the tuition fees. T<\/span>his was a big motivation for me to go for the offer. <\/span>As an international student, it was such a huge support for m<\/span>e financially. Because there were a lot of costs that came to me when thinking of studying ab<\/span>roa<\/span>d <\/span>as well as relocating and settling down in a new country. When receiving the offer, I felt that my dream could come true<\/span>.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

“I found out that the university offered <\/span>one-to-one<\/span> teaching<\/span> from the Achievement Team. The team includes <\/span>very<\/span> experienced tutors who <\/span>have had<\/span> extensive teaching and working experience<\/span> and<\/span> will spend one hour <\/span>privately guiding students to tackle any <\/span>studying <\/span>difficulty<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“As an international student, I <\/span>felt the welcome and support from all the lecturers, university staff<\/span> and <\/span>students. The university had a variety of <\/span>communities run by students and activities for international students to engage more with each other and with the university<\/span><\/span>. At<\/span> the beginning of the course, the university organised some free trips for international students to travel and visit famous and historical places <\/span>in the UK such as Oxford, Bath.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“My lecturers were <\/span>not only very professional and highly experienced in their area and teaching but also i<\/span>ncredibly supportive and considerate<\/span>. <\/span>I love the way the<\/span>y<\/span> gave us a <\/span>lot of opportunities to <\/span>discuss<\/span> and <\/span>raise<\/span> our<\/span> ideas<\/span> and encourage<\/span>d<\/span> us to work as a team.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
