{"id":51644,"date":"2024-01-08T10:03:19","date_gmt":"2024-01-08T10:03:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/courses\/?post_type=case_study&#038;p=51644"},"modified":"2024-01-08T10:03:20","modified_gmt":"2024-01-08T10:03:20","slug":"it-has-led-to-many-opportunities","status":"publish","type":"case_study","link":"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/courses\/story\/it-has-led-to-many-opportunities\/","title":{"rendered":"It has led to many opportunities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Leah Brownlie completed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/courses\/course\/cpm-ma-communications-pr-and-the-media\/\">Communications, PR and the Media<\/a> MA degree course in 2021 and now works for her local regional tourism organisation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I highly recommend&nbsp;the Master&#8217;s pathway which has led to many opportunities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;For my dissertation project I chose to create and execute a local tourism communications plan for my hometown, and I am now employed by the regional tourism organisation.&nbsp;I have been able to showcase my skills to prospective employers by using my dissertation project within my portfolio. The teachers were available and supportive throughout the entire process.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The flexibility of the programme allowed me to create a project that directly aligned with my career goals as well as my interests.
