Jamie Banks is among 6 UoG graduates selected to be part of a pioneering art studio programme at The Wilson Museum and Art Gallery in Cheltenham.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamie Banks graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art<\/strong><\/a> and is now undertaking a Master\u2019s by Research<\/strong><\/a> in Art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u2018We are Creators<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 programme supports emerging visual artists from across Gloucestershire to develop their practice and build careers in the visual arts sector, while also providing a platform for culture and creativity to thrive and develop within the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamie said: \u201cBeing a part of the \u2018We Are Creators\u2019 residency will allow me to apply all the fundamental skills that I learnt throughout my undergraduate programme, and enable me to develop my practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy success within the programme is down to the high standard of both academic, and practical teaching, along with the professional development I received from all staff members working on the Fine Art department.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
