{"id":65005,"date":"2026-05-29T13:19:28","date_gmt":"2026-05-29T13:19:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/courses\/?post_type=case_study&#038;p=65005"},"modified":"2026-05-29T13:19:29","modified_gmt":"2026-05-29T13:19:29","slug":"msc-physiotherapy-student-showcases-research-at-regional-conference","status":"publish","type":"case_study","link":"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/courses\/story\/msc-physiotherapy-student-showcases-research-at-regional-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"MSc Physiotherapy Student Showcases Research at Regional Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sophie Davis, a Year 2 MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration) student, recently showcased her academic and research talents by presenting at the Hartpury Research and Knowledge Exchange Conference 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her undergraduate dissertation explored the prevalence of stress urinary incontinence among Hartpury University and Gloucester-Hartpury female rugby players, highlighting an important and often under-discussed issue affecting women\u2019s sport and young female athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Presenting at the conference provided Sophie with the opportunity to raise awareness of the topic while engaging in insightful discussions with academics, clinicians, and attendees from across the sector.
