And by the end of the year you\u2019ll have created a batch of projects, including space navigation, a character creator and your first collaborative game.<\/p>\n\n<p>You\u2019ll study both C# and C++ programming languages and develop projects in Unity and Unreal game engines from week 1. As you progress through the course, you\u2019ll also learn Godot, render programming languages and build projects using VR and mobile devices.<\/p>\n<\/article><article tabindex=\"-1\">\n<p>There will be 4 x 3-hour sessions a week that are combined lecture and seminar, with workshops delivered and supported by your programming lecturers.<\/p>\n\n<p>Your sessions will take place in our new games PC labs which are available for study until 10pm. The cutting-edge digital hub is equipped with our Research &amp; VR lab, a digital lounge, enhanced teaching and learning facilities, and the latest technology, including 3D scanning equipment offering new capability to capture 3D objects in different locations. <\/p>\n\n<p>Your assessments will be coursework projects where you\u2019ll build solutions to the technical challenges of gameplay and systems programming.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Integrated foundation year<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>This course is available to study with an integrated foundation year \u2013 an extra, introductory year at the beginning of the full degree. course, you\u2019ll have the chance to take your skills to the next level with a year-long work placement within the games industry.
