Our BA Human Geography course focuses exclusively on the human dimension of the discipline, enabling you to <strong>specialise in the socio-geographic challenges of our time<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>You\u2019ll study topics including <strong>population<\/strong>, <strong>migration<\/strong>, <strong>geopolitics<\/strong>, <strong>sustainability<\/strong>, <strong>health<\/strong>, <strong>ageing<\/strong>, <strong>development<\/strong>, <strong>conflict<\/strong>, <strong>global crime and inequalities<\/strong>. You\u2019ll be introduced to these in your first year then choose which ones you&#8217;d like to pursue.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Physical geography<\/strong> themes focus on <strong>coastal environments<\/strong>, <strong>ecology<\/strong>, e<strong>nvironmental change and water<\/strong>. You can choose to blend your studies with <strong>human geography themes<\/strong> on <strong>development<\/strong>, <strong>health<\/strong>, <strong>population and migration<\/strong> and the <strong>geography of crime<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>There are <strong>skills pathways on research and fieldwork<\/strong>, <strong>GIS and remote sensing<\/strong>, <strong>data analytics and visualisation and AI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Your performance will be assessed entirely through a rich range of coursework<\/strong> types to gain a truly representative measure of graduate attributes sought by future employers and for postgraduate study.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The course is delivered entirely face-to-face, with options for short online meetings.
