These present some of the most pressing social challenges of this century, are inherently geographical in nature and are <strong>the focus of our BA Geography degree<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>You\u2019ll <strong>develop a world view<\/strong>, be exposed to a broad range of geographies and <strong>acquire an extensive set of research skills<\/strong>. You\u2019ll be introduced to these in your first year and then choose which ones you&#8217;d like to pursue.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Human geography<\/strong> themes focus on <strong>development, health, population and migration and the geography of crime<\/strong>. You can choose to blend your studies with <strong>physical geography themes<\/strong> on <strong>coastal environments, ecology, environmental change<\/strong> and <strong>water<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>There are <strong>skills pathways on research and fieldwork<\/strong>, <strong>GIS and remote sensing<\/strong>, <strong>data analytics and visualisation and AI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Your performance will be assessed entirely through a rich range of coursework<\/strong> types to gain a truly representative measure of graduate attributes sought by future employers and for postgraduate study.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>The course is delivered entirely face-to-face, with options for short online meetings.
