The brief focused on the Greyfriars site in the heart of the Gloucester town centre. During my site research, I decided to explore further into the city\u2019s history, highlighting the vast development of the town through the layers of architectural styles. This showcases the prominent landmarks, emphasising the effective utilisation of transportation and capturing the demographic within the population.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;p&gt;\u201cThrough the use of photography and sketching, I implemented my work into Photoshop, to create a collage summarising this wider-scaled analysis I completed through reproducing the visible layering of the history within the city. One of the biggest barriers that addicts face when it comes to seeking help for recovery is the shame that is placed on them by themselves, and the views of those around them. Positioned opposite a church, my pavilion celebrates Christian music (most commonly played in G major) in various ways. Its form is generated using the vibrations and wavelengths of the notes of G major, while the rain shelters are tuned to play these notes. Wind chimes add diatonic sounds, allowing the pavilion to be \u2018played by god\u2019, creating a unique experience for everyone who visits.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;p&gt;\u201cI was fascinated by the architecture of the church and wanted to reflect that too. The sunlight illuminates the main structure of the pavilion, changing at different times of the day. At night, the acrylic panels imitate the church\u2019s circular window and light the surroundings using coloured lights. I created 3D brightly coloured globules to be suspended in each segment and incorporated these into the mould throughout the pouring process, these are set at irregular levels. The mould liquid was poured from height at times to create small bubbles and a texture created on the surface to distort the visibility of the segment and give a softness.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;p&gt;\u201cDuring photographing I used light to ensure the depth of the pieces and the various effects of the translucency could be viewed. My proposal is the Museum of Conflict, which aims to provide an unbiased timeline of events, as well as protest against how the government involves itself in foreign conflicts. The Museum is a parasitic design, aimed to continuously expand for as long as a conflict continues. When choosing a site, the political context was the most important factor, hence why it is situated between the HM Treasury and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.&lt;\/p&gt;\n&lt;p&gt;\u201cThe design aims to replicate the form of an explosion coming out of a building in order to create a hostile structure.
