Our Physical Education degree is designed to c<strong>hallenge these outdated models and reimagine PE as an inclusive, equitable, and innovative space for all participants. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Through our dynamic, student-centred teaching method, such as interactive lectures, seminars, and practical workshops you will critically explore how PE can evolve to better serve diverse identities and abilities. Core themes include <strong>inclusion, equity and inequality, identity and self, curriculum and pedagogy, governance and management, and growth, development and maturation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The course focuses on innovative and reflective practices in teaching and curriculum design. You\u2019ll be <strong>encouraged to question various assumptions in PE, examine barriers to participation, and consider how to create environments that motivate and support lifelong engagement in physical activity.<\/strong> Graduates will be equipped with the critical tools to lead and advocate for transformative change in physical education settings.<\/p>\n<\/article><article tabindex=\"-1\">\n<p>Our progressive programme helps you develop throughout the course. Initially you\u2019ll <strong>plan and deliver engaging sessions to ensure you can be inclusive but still challenging for your participants<\/strong>.&nbsp;We\u2019ll look at <strong>teaching approaches, inclusive delivery and potential barriers to participation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Moving forwards into your second year we ask you to <strong>consider your philosophy of teaching and engage with a broader range of theories<\/strong>. In your final year you\u2019ll <strong>refine and reflect on your development and consider classroom-based aspects of the PE curriculum delivered in schools<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Also in your final year you\u2019ll have the opportunity to undertake a major project,&nbsp;<strong>carrying out an in-depth study within an area that interests you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/article><article tabindex=\"-1\">\n<p>The course is designed to prepare students for various careers including postgraduate teacher training schemes. Our students are <strong>guaranteed an interview for a PGCE course<\/strong> at University of Gloucestershire*<em>.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n<p>The majority of graduates from this course go on to work as <strong>teachers either in secondary or primary settings via a teaching training program<\/strong>. This includes working as a <strong>specialist PE teacher, SEND teaching, primary and early years practitioners<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Placements are integrated throughout the course<\/strong>, so by graduation students have built up valuable experience across a range of settings, and gained key skills employers are looking for<\/p>\n\n<p>Additionally, our graduates have
