If you are an international student subject to immigration control, the university may be required to check your immigration documents prior to allowing your enrolment. If this is the case, you will receive a message informing you of this at the start of the enrolment process.
Other than for digital grants of leave, immigration documentation must be checked in-person, as per UK Home Office requirements. Please see below for a list of all document checking events, times and locations. Please ensure that you bring your passport (or travel document) and your immigration permission to this event.
New students on a Student Visa also need to bring their original academic certificates for verification. Any students who are due to receive a BRP card will be able to collect this either the event at Oxstalls Campus on Monday 20 September, or Park Campus on Wednesday 22 September. Students arriving after these times will be able to collect their BRP card from one of the later Park Campus events.
