Eligibility Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Scholarships can only be awarded to offer holders in MA Education or MSC Psychology who
    are passport holders of Bangladesh or Pakistan<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. If a course\/programme lasts longer than one year, the scholarships will be offered for the
    first year of study only<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Scholarships will be offered at postgraduate taught (Master\u2019s) level only<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Scholarships will be offered for the study of full-time, on-campus postgraduate taught for MA
    Education (1 scholarship available) and MSc Psychology (1 scholarship available)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Scholarships can only be awarded to applicants who are classified by the University as an
    international tuition fee payer<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. As a condition of the award of a scholarship, recipients are required to take part in student
    ambassador and\/or mentoring schemes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Scholarships are only available for September 2024 entry (a scholarship award may not be
    deferred)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Applicants for scholarships are required to submit a completed application form by 30 April
    2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. The application form will be available via the website to all eligible offer holders<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Scholarships can only be awarded to applicants who are offer holders and have firmly
    accepted their offer on 30 April 2024<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Selection Criteria:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Academic excellence over and above the criteria required for admission to the PGT
      programme selected<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Proficiency in English language<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. If required, attend and pass a selection interview with the academic course leader<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      GREAT Scholars must:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • be motivated and academically able to follow and benefit from a UK postgraduate taught
        course;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • be willing to embody the UK higher education experience, by attending lectures and tutorials
        and engaging with extra-curricular activities, and act as an ambassador for UK higher
        education, by promoting the value of studying at a UK University;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • be willing to establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar, through personal and
        academic fulfilment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • represent the high standards of the GREAT brand by becoming an advocate for scholarships;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • be willing to attend a networking event of all UK-based GREAT scholars, to discuss
        experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • be willing to demonstrate future contribution to capacity-building and socioeconomic
        advancement through the benefits achieved after graduating from UK higher education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • be willing to maintain contact with the British Council and act as an ambassador for the
        GREAT Scholarships, by sharing experiences of studying in the UK with future GREAT scholars;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • as an alumnus of the GREAT Scholarships, be willing occasionally to speak to potential
