The practical experience you gain working in a practice setting will build your confidence and competence as a Healthcare Science professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where you require support with identifying a practice setting to work, we can support you through our large practice placement network.&nbsp; Placement is undertaken alongside theoretical learning.&nbsp; There will be periods of university attendance for block teaching and skills development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The School of Health and Social Care at University of Gloucestershire, work closely with Practice Placement Partners across Gloucestershire and neighbouring or wider associated counties to support practice-based learning placement experiences in central environments and across community services.\u00a0 Travel to and from placement will be required for the duration of your course.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We pride ourselves in making your ongoing development a major focus, not just academically, but also personally and professionally whilst on placement \u2013 as such, all students have access to a personal tutor.
