To prepare for your future as an Adult Nurse, your studies will include practice placements in a variety of NHS and private voluntary independent health and care settings. These will give you a breadth of diverse experiences to meet Professional Statutory Regulatory Body (PSRB) requirements for the role. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the diverse nature of the profession by undertaking regular placements spanning health and social care, charities, and contemporary emerging areas of practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Placements will be undertaken alongside your theoretical learning with 3 days per week in practice and 2 study days enabling a unique opportunity to apply your taught theory directly to your practice placement experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The School of Health and Social Care at UoG works closely with Practice Placement Partners across Gloucestershire and neighbouring or wider associated counties to support practice-based learning placement experiences in central environments and across community services. Travel to and from placement will be required for the duration of your course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We pride ourselves in making your ongoing development a major focus, not just academically, but also personally and professionally while on placement. As such, all students have access to a personal tutor and linked placement coach in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
