Information We Collect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We collect personal and organisational information necessary to manage and support our engagement with your organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Names and job titles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Contact details, including email addresses and telephone numbers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Organisation details and publicly available company information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Organisation logos and visual branding materials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Social media and website information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Records of engagement and activity with the University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">2. How we Collect Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Information is collected directly from you and through systems used to support employer engagement activities, including third-party platforms such as UniHub Central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We may also obtain information from publicly available sources, including company websites, Companies House and professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn, to keep our records accurate and up to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">3. How We Use Your Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your information is used to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Manage employer and organisational relationships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Administer vacancies, placements, events and recruitment activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Promote opportunities to students and graduates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Communicate relevant updates, opportunities and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Maintain accurate engagement records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Meet legal, regulatory and operational requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Organisation logos and related branding materials may be used in promotional materials connected to Careers and Employability activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">4. Data Security and Access<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The University takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to employer information is restricted to appropriately trained University staff who require access as part of their role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We take reasonable steps to ensure information remains accurate, secure and retained only for as long as necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">5. Sharing Your Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Where relevant to the purpose of engagement, information may be shared internally with appropriate University departments, including academic schools and professional services such as finance, legal or payroll teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information may also be disclosed where required by law, regulation or safeguarding obligations, including requests from regulatory authorities, legal advisors or law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University does not sell, rent or trade personal data to third parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">6. Data Retention<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Employer and organisation records will normally be retained until no activity has been recorded against the account for a period of five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples of account activity include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Posting vacancies or opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Attending or participating in events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Logging into employer systems or platforms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Providing placement opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Corresponding with the Careers and Employability Team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Certain records relating to placements or student activity may be retained for longer where required under the University\u2019s data retention policies or legal obligations. The University may contact organisations before records are removed to discuss continued engagement opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">7. Your Rights and Contact Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable legal requirements.
