For further information please visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/information\/knowledge-base\/requesting-a-confirmation-of-acceptance-for-studies-cas\/\">Requesting a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)<\/a> webpage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note, your CAS, once generated, will be retained by International Student Services, ready for use at your one-to-one appointment. You will receive a copy of your CAS once your visa application has been submitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Prepare your supporting documents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The supporting documents that you will be required to prepare will vary according to your specific circumstances. For further information, including a list of documents ordinarily required, please refer to the relevant section of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/information\/knowledge-base\/applying-for-a-student-visa-from-inside-the-uk-faqs\/\">Applying for a Student visa from inside the UK \u2013 FAQs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">Step 3: Attend a one-to-one appointment with International Student Services <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your CAS request and all required documents have been submitted to International Student Services, a member of the team will contact you to schedule a one-to-one Microsoft Teams appointment for submission of your visa application. At this appointment, a member of the team will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Help you to complete the online visa application form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Assist you with processing your visa application payment and immigration healthcare surcharge (IHS) fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Upload scans of any relevant supporting documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Book your biometric appointment (where it has not been possible to use the Home Office\u2019s integrated &#8216;UK Immigration: ID Check&#8217; app)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">Step 4: Attend your biometric appointment at a UKVCAS service point (if required)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have not been able to use the integrated &#8216;UK Immigration: ID Check&#8217; app, you will need to attend a UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) service point to register your biometric information (fingerprints and iris scan). Appointments are normally chargeable (prices start from \u00a3132), but most service points also offer a limited number of free appointments.
