If you are applying for a new course of study at the University, you will have been instructed to request a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) as part of the admissions process. You will receive a copy of your CAS once your visa application has been submitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The supporting documents that you will be required to prepare will vary according to your specific circumstances. For further information, including a list of documents ordinarily required, please refer to the relevant section of our Applying for a Student visa from inside the UK \u2013 FAQs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once your CAS request and all required documents have been submitted to International Student Services, a member of the team will contact you to schedule a one-to-one Microsoft Teams appointment for submission of your visa application. At this appointment, a member of the team will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have not been able to use the integrated ‘UK Immigration: ID Check’ app, you will need to attend a UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) service point to register your biometric information (fingerprints and iris scan). Appointments are normally chargeable (prices start from \u00a3132), but most service points also offer a limited number of free appointments. The nearest service point to the University is in Bristol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If your application is successful, you will receive an email from UKVI advising of your new immigration permission.
