Get involved in societies focused on green issues and protecting the planet. You can even be part of something huge, like our climate strike in 2019. These societies organise social and educational events, build habitats for wildlife and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are just some of the clubs and societies on offer to our students \u2013 check out the SU website<\/a> for the full list, ways to join and how to start your own.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Prickly Finders Society:<\/strong> \u201cOur aim is to make the university more hedgehog-friendly whilst helping to spread as much awareness as we can! We also run socials to get to know everyone and celebrate our achievements.\u201d<\/li>
  • Green Team Society:<\/strong> \u201cHere at the Green Team, we are passionate about the environment, biodiversity, and most of all, showcasing how amazing and important it is to a wider audience. We host regular online events via Zoom, so keep an eye out on our social media for updates.
