It is used to enhance your learning experience and is not used for summative assessment or to take significant action about you without a person involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">How it helps you<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">See your engagement and attendance alongside key dates so you can plan and ask for help early.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Receive optional study reminders or supportive nudges.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">What data we use right now<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Your timetable and attendance check-ins.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Your use of the&nbsp;Virtual&nbsp;Learning&nbsp;Environment and related learning tools.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Your course,&nbsp;modules&nbsp;and marks as they become available.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We explain these data in your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/information\/knowledge-base\/student-privacy-notice\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/information\/knowledge-base\/student-privacy-notice\/\">Student Privacy Notice<\/a> and keep them under review as services evolve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"heading wp-block-heading\">Your choices and controls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Notifications and prompts: you choose whether to receive them and you can change your preferences in the app later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Checking in to sessions: if you use the app for attendance, you can allow location services on your device. This is optional,&nbsp;and there are alternative ways to record attendance if you prefer not to share location.
