Our students complete over 4,000 placements each year. With opportunities locally and globally, you\u2019ll have plenty of hands-on experience to stand out after graduating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All placements are subject to COVID-19 restrictions and the below are examples of past placement opportunities. There may be additional costs and the destinations are subject to change \u2013 please take a look at the course pages for more information.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Gain experience on the frontline in hospitals, A&E departments, and homelessness charities.<\/li>
  • Nursing students develop their expertise in acute, primary and private healthcare settings.<\/li>
  • Paramedic Science students can benefit from simulation events with local police and fire departments to prepare for placements in ambulances.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cI was placed in the Priority Ward at Wotton Lawn Hospital. I conducted an ECG and took obs, reading patient notes to understand how best to support them.     \u201cLast summer I did an elective placement in Sri Lanka. I encountered patients with a number of tropical diseases which are rare or non-existent in the UK. The hospital only had limited resources, so it was interesting to see how they managed and continued to deliver patient care.
