Our students complete over 4,000 placements each year. With opportunities locally and globally, you\u2019ll have plenty of hands-on experience to stand out after graduating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All placements are subject to COVID-19 restrictions and the below are examples of past placement opportunities. There may be additional costs and the destinations are subject to change \u2013 please take a look at the course pages for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Gain hands-on experiences with animals in zoos, veterinary practices and schools.<\/li>
  • Recent geography placements included teaching in a secondary school, research for a charity which provides agroecology support for Kenyan communities, and data analysis for an energy firm on options for new wind turbine locations.<\/li>
  • We have excellent links with Gloucestershire Constabulary, victim support services and Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse for psychology and sociology students.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cI worked with Wildlife ACT in South Africa on their conservation efforts for endangered species.     \u201cI\u2019ve always been interested in the Criminal Justice System and forensic psychology helps me understand why some individuals commit offences.     \u201cI did an internship at an equine veterinary laboratory \u2013 by the end of it, the vets didn\u2019t realise I was actually on work experience \u2013 they thought I was an employee!
