Our students complete over 4,000 placements each year. With opportunities locally and globally, you\u2019ll have plenty of hands-on experience to stand out after graduating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All placements are subject to COVID-19 restrictions and the below are examples of past placement opportunities. There may be additional costs and the destinations are subject to change \u2013 please take a look at the course pages for more information.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Cyber and computer security students have undertaken work placements with forensics organisations including Gloucester Constabulary and CGI.<\/li>
  • Benefit from visiting professionals such as BT, Raytheon, CGI and Hewlett Packard.<\/li>
  • Creative computing students have had placements with leading companies such as Microsoft, The Chartered Institute for IT (BCS), University of Southern California, Headstrong Games, Codemasters and Rancon.<\/li>
  • Internship opportunities with games studios like Unity, Sumo Digital, Team17 and Neon Play, make our creative computing students stand out from the crowd.<\/li>
  • Year-long placements offer engineering students the chance to put their skills to the test at cutting-edge companies like MOOG, Spirax Sarco, Dowty Propeller and Total Metal Products Ltd.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
