{"id":6192,"date":"2021-03-09T15:13:14","date_gmt":"2021-03-09T15:13:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/information\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=6192"},"modified":"2024-06-05T11:04:46","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T11:04:46","slug":"room-for-more-cheese","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.glos.ac.uk\/information\/knowledge-base\/room-for-more-cheese\/","title":{"rendered":"Room for more cheese?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"\">Made in Gloucestershire since the 16<sup>th<\/sup> century, there are two varieties of Gloucester cheese \u2013 single and double.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Both types are traditionally made using the milk from Gloucestershire breed cows, farmed within our county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The semi-hard cheese has a natural rind and hard texture. Single Gloucester however, is slightly lighter in texture, is more crumbly and lower in fat.
