Instead, you\u2019re part of a close-knit and connected community of just over 10,000 students. There will always be someone who knows you, and someone to look out for you. Whether that\u2019s a fellow student, your lecturer, personal tutor or a member of the wider community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"acf-block acf-block--pullquote   align    shape-arrow\" style=\"background-color:;\">\n\t\t<blockquote>\n\t\t<p>\u201cI came from a very small secondary school in northwest Kent where there were only 4 classes per year group: the fact that the class sizes at UoG were also small made me feel far more secure. I knew that I wouldn&#8217;t be just another face or a lost voice in a crowd of 100 people in a lecture theatre. The benefit of having your lecturers know you by your face really sold it for me. <\/p>\n<p>The university itself being spread out across Cheltenham\/Gloucester was also really appealing to me as I didn&#8217;t like how claustrophobic some universities felt being on one massive campus.
