2. University Secretary & Registrar (or nominee) to refer to the Vice Chancellor \u2013 to ensure they are satisfied that there is a case for the student to answer<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. University Secretary & Registrar (or nominee) refers case directly to Disciplinary Committee (or 3b see below)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4 Student referred to a Disciplinary Committee to determine if any penalties should be imposed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Student has Right to Appeal to Vice Chancellor. Appeals must be made in writing within 10 working days<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4b Summary Procedure<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the student is found guilty of misconduct the University Secretary & Registrar (or nominee) may impose a penalty.
N.B. Student is unable to appeal any decision from the summary procedure<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If student refuses summary procedures the student is referred to a Disciplinary Committee to determine if any penalties should be imposed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
