Lecturer in Accounting and Finance

Business, Entrepreneurship and Financial Management

I have a passion and enthusiasm for understanding how businesses can make decisions to allow them to innovate and drive their business forward. I specialise in Management Accounting and decision making processes.

Management Accounting has played an important role in my career. I have had diverse roles as a Management Accountant which has enabled me to work in hospitality and companies such as The Gambling Commission. I completed my professional chartered accountancy qualification in 2007 and I think that is a reflection of the enthusiasm I have for my subject. I am passionate about bringing ‘real life’ examples into the classroom. I find teaching a very rewarding role and I personally enjoy passing my experience and enthusiasm over to my students.
