Literary and Critical Studies

At University of Gloucestershire, Lania Knight teaches creative writing. She writes fiction, nonfiction and, sometimes, poetry.


Lania Knight received a PhD in English/Creative Writing from University of Missouri in 2010. She interned at The Missouri Review and has read for several other small literary magazines. Her stories and essays have been published in Fourth Genre, PANK, The Rumpus, Queen Mob's Teahouse and elsewhere. She has work forthcoming in Quiddity and Post Road. Her first book, Three Cubic Feet, was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award in Debut Fiction, and her next book, Remnant, will be released by Burlesque Press in 2017.
