Georgina Hounsome

Lecturer in Illustration


Georgina is a practicing Illustrator and Lecturer. Her current practice is focussed on narrative and storytelling structures.


Georgina graduated from MA Illustration at Falmouth University in 2009 where the focus of her studies were story and sequence and the artist as entrepreneur. Since completing an MA, Georgina has immersed herself within the print and illustration communities of Bristol where she is a Member Director of Spike Island Printmakers. Current practice considers the graphic novel as storytelling structure with an focus on environmental and climate change issues.
