Kate has a background in acting, writing/translating and directing and specialises in classical theatre, its theory and performance. She is founder director of To The Elephant/shakespeareonthelevel, which focuses on Shakespeare and his contemporaries.

Shakespeare’s plays and poems are Kate's main area of interest and she loves opening up the life-affirming worlds he creates with words, for others.
